Privacy Notice

Effective date: November 1, 2026 · Last updated: November 1, 2026

Draft for review: this notice was written from the Dough Dev and Dough Dose Jira projects. Highlighted text marks assumptions to confirm: legal entity, address, governing details, retention periods, the player-ID screen, and anything about ads or purchases (DOSE-29 / DOUGH-28 are still open). Before launch, keep it consistent with your App Store "App Privacy" answers and Google Play "Data safety" form, and have it reviewed by a lawyer. Delete this box when done.

This Privacy Notice explains how Korvogami ("Korvogami", "we", "us") handles information when you play our games — currently Dough Dev and Dough Dose (the "Games") — use our update-alerts page, or visit korvogami.com (together, the "Services").

1. In short

  • No accounts. You don't sign up, and the Games never ask for your name, email, phone number, contacts, photos or location.
  • Anonymous play stats. Each install gets a random player ID, and we record how the Games are played (for example which level you reached and how long you played) so we can make them better.
  • Feedback is optional. If you use the in-game feedback button, we receive what you write.
  • Update alerts are opt-in. Push notifications only start after you turn them on, and you can turn them off at any time.
  • We don't sell your information.

2. Who we are

Korvogami is an independent game studio based in the United States, and is the controller of the information described here. Contact us at privacy@korvogami.com. Mailing address: [street address, city, state, ZIP].

3. Information we collect

a. Information collected automatically while you play

  • Random player ID — generated on your device when you first play. It is not linked to your name, your store account or your device's advertising ID.
  • Gameplay events — session start and end and play time; levels started, finished or quit, with goals met, stars and time; upgrades bought and staff hired; and in-game moments (for example apps shipped, servers down, patients served, calls answered or missed).
  • Progress snapshots — a short summary of your progress (such as level, in-game money and hires) sent when you leave the Game.
  • Technical data — the Game's build version, plus the basic device, operating-system and browser information and IP address that any connection to our servers reveals. We do not store IP addresses with your gameplay events.

b. Information you choose to give us

  • In-game feedback — your 1–5 star rating, your answers to the short questions and any note you type, saved with your build version and a snapshot of your game. Please don't include personal details in your note.
  • Update alerts — if you turn on alerts at korvogami-updates.vercel.app, we store the push subscription your browser creates (an address and keys used to deliver notifications) and the channels you picked (Studio news, Dough Dev, Dough Dose).
  • Support emails — your email address and whatever you include in your message.
  • Discord — if you join the Korvogami Games Discord server, Discord handles your account under its own privacy policy. We see what you post there, as any member can.

c. Stored only on your device

Your saved game, settings (music, sound, vibration), wardrobe and unlocked tunes are stored locally on your device. Using Settings › Reset or uninstalling the Game removes them.

We do not sell personal information, we do not use it to build advertising profiles, and we do not make automated decisions that have legal or similarly significant effects on you.

5. Service providers

We use a small number of providers who process information on our behalf or deliver parts of the Services:

ProviderWhat it does for usPrivacy policy
Vercel Inc.Hosts our game servers and website; stores gameplay events, feedback and alert subscriptionsvercel.com/legal/privacy-policy
Apple (App Store) and Google (Google Play)Distribute the Games and process any purchasesApple · Google

Discord Inc.Hosts our community server and posts update announcementsdiscord.com/privacy

We don't currently include third-party analytics, advertising or tracking SDKs in the Games. If that changes, we will update this notice first.

6. Ads & in-app purchases

The Games currently show no ads and offer no in-app purchases. We plan to keep them fair: no pay-to-win, and no ads that interrupt play. If we add optional rewarded ads, cosmetic items or a one-time purchase in the future:

  • we will list the ad provider in section 5 and update this notice before release;
  • on iPhone and iPad, we will ask your permission through Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt before any tracking, and you can change it in Settings › Privacy & Security › Tracking;
  • in the EEA, UK and Switzerland, we will ask for consent before personalized ads;
  • purchases will be processed by Apple or Google. We would never receive your payment card details, only a transaction confirmation so we can deliver and restore what you bought.

7. How we share information

  • With the service providers in section 5, only so they can provide their services.
  • With authorities or others when the law requires it, or to protect the rights and safety of players and of Korvogami.
  • With a successor if Korvogami or a Game is merged, acquired or sold, subject to this notice.

We may publish aggregated statistics (for example "most players finish chapter 1 in under two hours") that don't identify anyone.

8. How long we keep information

  • Gameplay events and progress snapshots: up to 24 months after they are collected.
  • Feedback entries: up to 24 months.
  • Update-alert subscriptions: until you turn alerts off, or until the push service tells us the subscription is no longer valid. We remove it automatically then.
  • Support emails: up to 3 years.

9. Your rights and choices

Depending on where you live (for example the EEA, UK, Switzerland, California and other U.S. states, Canada, Brazil or Australia), you may have the right to access, correct or delete your information, to object to or restrict certain uses, to withdraw consent, and to not be treated differently for using these rights. You can also complain to your local data-protection authority.

Because the Games have no accounts, we can only find your data using your player ID. To make a request, email privacy@korvogami.com with the Game name and your player ID, shown in the Game under Settings.

Your choices at any time:

  • Update alerts: tap Turn off on the alerts page, or block notifications for that site in your browser or phone settings.
  • Feedback: it's always optional. Just don't use the button.
  • Local data: use Settings › Reset or uninstall the Game.

10. Deleting your data

You can ask us to delete your data at any time. You don't need to delete the app or contact the app stores:

  1. Email privacy@korvogami.com with the subject "Data deletion request", the Game name (Dough Dev or Dough Dose) and your player ID from the Game's Settings screen.
  2. We will delete the gameplay events, progress snapshots and feedback linked to that player ID, and confirm within 30 days.
  3. To remove the data stored on your device, use Settings › Reset in the Game or uninstall it.

Update-alert subscriptions are deleted as soon as you turn alerts off. We may keep aggregated statistics that no longer identify anyone, and records we are legally required to keep.

11. Children

The Games are made for a general audience and are not directed at children under 13 (or the higher minimum age in your country). We don't knowingly collect personal information from children. The Games collect no names or contact details, and the feedback form asks players not to include personal information. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

12. Security

Information is sent over encrypted connections (HTTPS) and stored in private storage that only Korvogami can access. Reports are protected by a secret key. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect what we hold and keep as little as we can.

13. International transfers

We and our providers process information in the United States and other countries. Where the law requires it, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses offered by our providers.

14. Changes to this notice

We will update this notice when the Games change, for example before adding ads, purchases or new providers. We will change the "Last updated" date above and, for material changes, tell you in the Games' "What's new" card, on this website, or in our Discord #announcements channel.
